Equipment

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Raspberries fresh (preferred) or frozen
  • 1 Lemon large, juiced
  • 2 liter Clear carbonated drink like Sprite or Ginger Ale, chilled
  • 1/2 gallon Lemonade chilled
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 Lemon large, cut into slices, for garnish
  • Mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, add fresh raspberries. RESERVE SOME FOR GARNISH. Using the back of a large spoon, crush raspberries. (It's OK if they are not completely crushed and some pieces remain.)
  • To the crushed raspberries, add the fresh lemon juice of one lemon. Stir and set aside.
  • To a large punch bowl, add chilled clear carbonated beverage (like Ginger Ale or Sprite) and chilled lemonade. Stir.
  • Add crushed raspberries and lemon juice mixture to the punch bowl. Stir.
  • Right before serving the punch, add in ice cubes, lemon slices and whole raspberries. Reserve some of the whole raspberries, lemon slices and fresh mint (optional) for glass garnish.

Notes

You can also freeze raspberries and even small lemon wedges into ice cubes instead of using plain ice cubes for a festive look or to go in individual glasses.
