How To Play The Injury Wrap Football Party Game
If you’ve ever played the mummy wrap game or the Christmas tree wrap game, the football wrap game is a lot like those games!
This is a fun party activity if you’re looking for football minute to win it games, easy group games for kids, teen games, or even party game ideas for adults and kids to play together.
What is the injury wrap football game?
The football injury wrap game is a party game using toilet paper or streamers to wrap the “injuries” of a party guest.
The first team to get the teammate’s injuries wrapped (uses all the toilet paper supplies) wins.
PARTY GAME TIP: You will need at least four players to play this game.
Supplies For The Football Injury Game
To play this party game, you’ll need the following supplies:
- 2+ rolls of toilet paper (or many rolls of streamer paper like this) for each team
That’s it! You just need teams and toilet paper!
Football Injuries Party Game Rules and Game Play
1. Split the group into teams.
Have the team choose one “injured” player, who
PRO PARTY GAME TIP: If you have a large group, split them into multiple teams. Team sizes of around 5-6 people work best. For smaller groups, partners work really well, too.
2. Hand out supplies.
Give each team 2 rolls of toilet paper (or more if you want the game to last longer).
PARTY TIP: Recycle the toilet paper or streamers in the recycle bin after you use them!
3. Explain the directions.
You can make up a story, but I usually say something like:
Oh no! Our best football player is injured and we need to wrap the injuries to help!
The injuries are: a broken right arm, a head injury, a chest injury, and a knee strain.
Be sure to wrap those areas using all your injury wrap (aka: toilet paper) before the other team finishes wrapping their injuries.
First team to wrap all the injuries wins!
Be sure that they are wrapping the specific injury areas and not just the whole person (like a mummy).
Teams must use all of their “wrapping materials” (aka: toilet paper).

4. Play the game!
On GO! teams should work with their players together to wrap the injuries of their “injured” player.
Remind teams of the areas that should be wrapped (e.g. right arm, head, chest, knee, etc. — or whatever areas you choose for your party) and that they must use all of their wrapping to win.
5. Announce the game winners!
The first team to wrap the correct injury spots and use all of their toilet paper wrapping supplies wins the game.
PRO PARTY TIP: If you're playing this as a teen game or an adults theme party game, you can also give the teams 60 seconds to make it more challenging. This is great if you have larger teams because it gets everyone quickly working together and LAUGHING.

I always like to give small prizes for every game we play at our parties (or, I have a basket and each player can pick a prize out of the basket).
It doesn’t have to be expensive stuff and can just be fun trinkets for people to take home.
(Partygoers LOVE to take home things to remind them of the party!)
