Interesting Questions Games For Parties

Truth Or Dare

You probably already know Truth or Dare because it’s a classic slumber party game / teen party game.

In this simple game, a person chooses if they want to tell the truth about a topic or take a dare.

PLAY A TRUTH OR DARE GAME FOR GIRLS (for board games with questions included)

(Or, try this for a fun adult dare game with question and answer.)

Trivial Pursuit

Don’t discount this classic board game that is all about answering trivia questions correctly.Trivial Pursuit has really thought-provoking questions where you / your team needs to get the correct answer to win a pie piece. Complete your pie and win the game! There are even updated versions now (like STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW) that goes beyond the classic Trivial Pursuit.

If you / your group is fan of trivia, this is the perfect game for you!

A favorite tv show that’s perfect for party questions.

Players must answer questions correctly in order to win money. You can even give out play money that party guests can redeem and “buy” fun prizes. Get a mixture of silly, inexpensive prizes, all the way up to better prizes (that are more expensive to “buy” with the play money) like gift cards, headphones, etc.

20 Questions Game

If you’re wondering what is the game where you ask questions, this is it! It’s a simple answer game for those who like to use their detective skills (and it’s also perfect for a road trip game, too!).

How do you play the 21 questions game?

One player thinks of an object, person or place, and the other players take turns asking one-word answers yes or no questions in order to try to figure out what it is. You only get 21 guesses, so be picky and try to guess correctly before you run out of turns!

Add this to your games with nothing needed list!

The Newlywed Game

A fun game for newlyweds or even couples who have been married for awhile. Players answer questions about their partner and see how well they know each other.

Each new question and answer usually elicits hysterical responses and personality traits really come out! This is a hilarious game for a couples party game and party games for adults that you must add for an adults party!

Couples Game Alternatives to the Newlywed Game

Who Knows Better?

Who Knows Better? is a hysterical family party game / friend party game where you already know the party guests.

Two blindfolded players are asked questions in meme form (think: Cards Against Humanity) and have to pick if it applies more to them or their partner/friend/family member (the other blindfolded person). Score is kept on who gets the most correct.

Family Feud

A popular quiz game show that you can now play at home!

Each family member must answer survey questions about a topic correctly in order to win points for all of the group members. It goes down the line (the first person, Person A, answers the question, then the announcer asks Person B, then the next person, etc.)

You can even come up with some really good questions on your own!

The Best Friend Game

Perfect sleepover party game for teens or girls night in game!

This fun game has you guessing how well you know your friends with 250 questions and white boards to write your answers on. Perfect games quiz questions for friends night!

TLDR Version Of Your Life

TLDR is a short way to say “too long; don’t read.”

TLDR Version Of Your Life game is a great ice breaker game or first game for special events. In two minutes, party goers need to tell a summary of their to each person they meet.

TableTopics games are great to put on tables during dinner. This is a conversation starter questions game, so it makes the perfect party ice breaker.

Basecamp Cards

Basecamp Cards are question cards meant for campfires and camping, but you can use them for any party question game. They’re funny, fun, weird, and serious questions that are written on playing cards — so it doubles as two games in one! (What a good idea if you’re camping or traveling!)

Loaded Questions

Fun question game for friends and family with funny, open-ended questions to answer (with no right or wrong answers!). Advance in the board game if you write the best answer.

Guess In 10

Guess In 10 is a fun challenge questions game if you need a game for a variety of different ages and is super fun for a kids party or sleepover. It’s like 21 Questions, but in board games form and is the perfect guessing game for kids.

You are given a category (like exotic animals) and item (like tiger) on your card and the other person or team has up to 10 guesses to get it right.

Would You Rather?

Would You Rather? is a funny family game / group party game good for all ages (or a wide variety of ages at your party).

You get asked a wild and wacky versus questions (“would you rather do this or that”) and then have to convince others of your answer.

It’s the ultimate games of differences and a popular game with questions for all ages!

SUSSED is like Would You Rather? but with a twist. Everyone is asked a question and then you try to pick the answer that other people choose.

There are different versions from family-friendly question game to even a NSFW game edition (if you’re looking for more
wild party games).

Never Have I Ever

The Never Have I Ever game is a really fun way to get to know others or if you need a funny ice breaker game.

Guests are asked hysterical game questions and then have to hold up yes or no paddles (included with the game) to answer the question.

There’s a family version of the game and an adult game.

You Don’t Know Jack

You Don’t Know Jack is honestly one of my favorite question and answer games. It’s an online game that you play on game consoles (you can also download it on your favorite consoles).

You are asked weird and wacky trivia questions and play against each other either via your console controllers or your phone (depending on how you’re accessing the game).

It’s super sarcastic and a hilariously funny questions game, but the announcer comments and topics can be more mature. (The announcer even roasts you if you don’t answer the right questions.) Might want to save this one for older teens parties and adult party games.

If your group has a good sense of humor and doesn’t get easily insulted, definitely add this as one of your games with party questions for adults.
